A light green, sweet-tart drink garnished with “eyeballs” that stare right back at you. Guaranteed conversation starter.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 1 oz melon liqueur
- 1 oz limoncello
- 1 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- A pinch of green edible glitter
- Canned lychees and fresh blueberries, for the eyeball garnish
Method
- Make the eyeballs: tuck a blueberry into the hollow of each lychee and slide them onto a cocktail pick.
- Add the vodka, melon liqueur, limoncello, lime juice, syrup, and glitter to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled glass and rest the eyeballs across the rim.
Why it works
Another sour, but with two liqueurs doing most of the sweetening. That is why it needs so much lime: 1 1/2 oz keeps the melon and lemon flavors bright instead of sugary.
Swaps and notes
- Taste first. Depending on your limoncello, you may want a touch more syrup or a touch less lime.
- The color comes out a soft, light green.

About 1.8 standard drinks as a full cocktail. Split four ways, about 0.45 each.
